This estimate uses the actual QR density and frame size, a 0.4 mm module target, and a 10:1 distance-to-symbol-width rule of thumb. It is a planning aid, not a scan guarantee. Artwork size includes the border, frame and caption. These settings do not resize downloaded files or print sheets.

Offer a call to a public number

Enter the telephone number without a tel: prefix. Include the country code for an audience that may use international numbers. This generator adds the telephone-link prefix; it does not look up the number or confirm who owns it.

A compatible phone may offer its dialler after scanning. The person chooses whether to place the call. Desktop devices without a calling app may only display the number.

Make a useful service label

For a repair-service label, print the service name, readable telephone number and staffed hours next to the QR. Check the complete dialled number on a phone before producing labels. Test extensions separately with the intended phone systems; interpretation is not consistent across calling apps.

What the scan check cannot tell you

Automatic verification compares decoded data with your input. It cannot establish whether the number is active, whether calls are answered, or what a caller will be charged. Keep the code updated when your number changes and clearly disclose any relevant call charges.

Use this page for a dialler shortcut. Choose SMS for a text-message recipient, WhatsApp for a chat link, or a contact card to let compatible apps import several contact fields. None of these tools sends a communication automatically.
