Calendar Event QR Code Generator

Share an event with a scan. Enter its dates and time zone, then download a QR code or calendar file.

Made in your browser
No account needed. Yours to keep.

1. Add your content

Choose the time zone where the event takes place. For all-day events, the last day is inclusive. Event details are encoded in the QR image and are not saved with design presets.

Your QR code is generated directly in your browser.
Starter templates & captions Ready-made styles and download frames

Apply a ready-made design. Your content stays unchanged.

Choose a frame to include your caption in downloads, copied images and print sheets. The selected size is the QR area; the frame adds space around it. Captions are saved with design presets.

Saved designs

Save colours, styles, frames, captions and your logo on this browser. Your encoded QR content is never included. Up to 10 designs; saving an existing name updates it.

Preset files include saved logos. Import adds designs without replacing existing ones; conflicting names are renamed. Maximum 10 designs in total.

Local project library

Save the complete content, design, frame, caption and print label on this browser. Up to 20 projects. Saving an existing name updates it. Projects are not uploaded or synced.

Content is stored unencrypted in this browser profile. This can include Wi-Fi passwords, contact details and event information. Anyone with access to this profile may be able to read it. Clearing site data removes your projects.

Print options & size guidance

SVG is recommended for printing because it can be scaled without losing quality.

Print-size guidance

This estimate uses the actual QR density and frame size, a 0.4 mm module target, and a 10:1 distance-to-symbol-width rule of thumb. It is a planning aid, not a scan guarantee. Artwork size includes the border, frame and caption. These settings do not resize downloaded files or print sheets.

QR printing reference: keep a four-module clear border.

Share dates that work across time zones

Timed events are converted from your chosen time zone to UTC so calendar apps can display them in each recipient's time zone. All-day events retain their calendar dates; the last date you select is included. Times skipped or repeated when clocks change are checked before you download.

Download an event file or scan the QR

The QR contains iCalendar event data. Some phone scanners offer to add the event; support varies by scanner. Download the .ics file for direct import into a compatible calendar app. No invitations are sent and nothing is added to a calendar automatically. Keep descriptions short for easier scanning and test before printing.

Make the event understandable without scanning

For a workshop, use a specific title, the venue or joining link, and a short description of what to bring. Print the date, local time and location alongside the QR. The event image is not a ticket, registration form or proof of attendance.

Check the imported time

Choose the time zone of the event, not whichever zone happens to be set on your computer. If a clock-change time repeats, select the intended occurrence. Import the .ics file or scan the code into a test calendar and check both the start and end before publishing. Keep an all-day event as dates rather than inventing midnight times.

Plan for changes and privacy

A shared static event QR does not push later changes to recipients. If the time or venue changes, communicate the correction and publish replacement artwork. Include only information you intend every holder of the image to receive; saving a complete project also keeps event details unencrypted in this browser profile.
